onemedia deliver interactive wayfinder solution with Landsec at St. David’s Shopping centre, Cardiff
Located in the heart of the Welsh capital, St David’s Cardiff is Wales’ leading shopping destination attracting over 40 million shoppers through the doors each year.
Owned and managed by St David’s Ltd Partnership, a joint venture between Land Securities and Intu Properties PLC, onemedia continue to build on their relationship with Land Securities delivering an interactive store directory and wayfinding solution to the shopping centre.
What was installed?
Onemedia designed and developed the on-brand interactive solution shown on 8 double sided touch kiosks throughout the centre. The solution included:
- Bespoke, easy to navigate user interface
- Over 180 shops, restaurants and cafés listed over 2 floors
- Shops and Restaurants organised into categories
- Route visualisation from ‘You are here’ marker to selected destination
- Routes calculated via escalator or lift for disabled visitors
As part of the managed service that onemedia provide Land Securities any content updates to the solution are swiftly processed in house.
