With Storm Eunice looming we quite literally had a whirlwind trip to beautiful Copenhagen last month. First visiting Palle Dinesen, the founder of Ubiqisense, and his technical team at their amazing BoxHub offices to discuss all things occupancy sensors and smart buildings. We are working together on an exciting partner programme for the reseller channel and discussions were centred around this. Palle is passionate about the benefits of sensor technology particularly in the hybrid workspace, not only for improved user experience and the cost efficiencies that can be achieved for the business but also from a sustainability perspective. We have already seen so much interest in their technology, culminating in some nice project deliveries. Notably, a large financial firm, installing several sensors in their current office to help them plan and design the new space they are moving into later this year. It’s not hard to get excited about technologies when you work with forward-thinking companies like Ubiqisense.
The following day we visited Pronestor’s office in the quaint town of Lyngby. We spent most of the day discussing Pronestor Workspace, their desk booking solution. Listening to Kasper, Sebastien, Daniel and Gertrud’s vision on the return to the office was both enlightening and inspirational. The vision is very much focussed on user experience and making the return to the office as enjoyable and seamless as possible.
Pronestor kindly arranged for us to visit UNICEF, an extensive user of Pronestor Planner in UN City. It’s always so useful to speak to end users that have experience of using the products on a day to day basis, providing valuable feedback that can help shape future product developments, or key insights that can be beneficial to other customers. This is something we strive to do at onemedia across all our manufacturers.
We finished our visit with a very short sightseeing trip to iconic Nyhavn and then onto a blustery flight home. Two long days but a hugely worthwhile trip. Thank you to both Ubiqisense and Pronestor for hosting us.
